Star Precision awarded Best PPM Performance in the Commodity, October 2004
Star Precision received the Best PPM Performance in the Commodity award from Advanced Energy in October of 2004. The award was presented to the President of Star Precision, for the company have the lowest and most improved DPPM score from all the suppliers of that commodity. Star Precision is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, and prides itself on it's continuous improvement, and customer quality support.
Star Precision becomes RoHS Compliant, January 2006
In our efforts to stay at the forefront in compliance with government and OSHA regulations, Star Precision LLC made the following change effective January 1, 2006. Star Precision switched their tanks to clear irridite and chemical film (chemical product being used is Alodine T5900). We are still able to support the use of yellow irridite and chemical film through outsourcing with our partners for the short term. This changeover in our tanks allows Star Precision to be one of the first precision sheetmetal facilities in the front range to adopt the provisions of this Directive.
